I am sitting here trying to think of a good topic to write about and I can't think of anything, at all. I seem to be getting frustrated and aggravated about my inability to think of topics on the spot. It happens every time I have to write a speech for school or write something for school that involves a topic selection. Especially when Jamie is in my ear nagging to give him topic ideas. I haven't even chosen mine yet!
The last English speech i did, it took me 3 weeks to decide what topic I could do. Once I finally chose the topic I had one night to write it, and you know the most annoying thing, it was the best in the class. Grrrrrr! What is even more annoying is it's the best speech in my year and it's the best speech i have ever written!
I think what I am trying to say is, always leave writing your speech till the very last minute! It will be the best speech you've ever written.

Go Back To Where You Came From
Watching 'Go Back To Where You Came From' was certainly interesting. The different views of the participants and how much they changed their views at the end was dramatic. Adam at the start thought the 'boat people' were criminals for entering Australia illegally, but then at the end after seeing what these people go through he said that he would get on a boat if he could.
At the start I thought like Adam, but I actually changed the same way he did toward the end. I felt like I would probably get on a boat to if my life was at risk, knowing that at any moment I could be taken away and killed, and knowing there is a safer place in the world I would try everything to get there.
The events that occurred throughout the series most definitely impacted me and my thoughts of asylum seekers.

Work Experience- part 2
Going to the aquatic center was a great experience and i think it helped me choose what career I want to do. Working in the different areas of the center was really good because i didn't really want to get stuck in the one place doing the same thing the whole time i was there.
Wednesday was probably the best day because i was in the pool all day, the down side was all of the kids I worked with were well behaved so i didn't get to drown anyone.
The day I liked the least was the day i had to work with 3yr olds. Thursday, I absolutely hated those little snotty nosed kids. They were loud, smelly and really really annoying! One even started throwing cards at me and left me to pick them up. I was glad to finish early that day.
Friday, last day of work experience. This day I had to help in the health club, witch is a gym, then help the life guards with making sure people 'don't' drown, and to finish off the day I was in administration sorting paper work. And throughout all of these I was trying to make time go faster so I could go home.
And that was the end of my week of work. Apart from the kids I had a really good time, and learnt a lot about what people do in the center. Overall I was very happy with my choice of work place.
